Months 1-2
Phase 1: Orientation & Training

Online opening meeting with ESI organizer and your advisor

Short online course in Academic Writing, Publishing & Ethics

Mandatory one-to-one advisor meeting


Deliverables:

• Research plan (1-2 pages)

• Course certificates

Months 3-4
Phase 2: Research Development

Minimum 1 advisor meeting for progress review

Active research: data gathering, analysis, or concept work

Receive advisor feedback on manuscript sections

Optional: Free presentation at ESI conference


Deliverables:

• 50-70% completed manuscript

• Midterm advisor feedback report

Months 5-6
Phase 3: Manuscript Finalization

Minimum 1 final advisor meeting

Complete manuscript finalization and journal formatting

Present your research at ESI or a partner conference free of charge
