Paola Clara Leotta received her PhD in English and Anglo-American Studies at the University of Catania, Italy. She currently serves as Associate Professor of English Linguistics in the Department of Education, and Visiting Professor at the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, GrigoI Robakidze University, Georgia.

Prof. Leotta’s list of publications includes “New Englishes”, with particular reference to the socio-linguistic study of Indian English; English for Specific Purposes, applied to English for Psychology and Psychiatry; Translation Studies, with particular reference to Audiovisual translation; English Language acquisition and bilingualism.
